Golden Police has issued a Shelter in Place Order for residents and businesses in the area of 

Golden Circle

Due to:

Two possible armed and dangerous subjects. 

There is an active threat to public safety. 

If you are indoors: 

• Stay inside and remain in place. 

• Lock all doors and windows. 

• Close blinds and curtains and avoid areas near windows. 

• If possible, move to a basement or interior room away from external walls. 

If you are outdoors: 

• Seek immediate shelter indoors and remain there until further notice. 

Important Safety Instructions: 

• Do not leave your home or business, and do not attempt to evacuate the area. 

• Do not open your doors to anyone unless you are certain of their identity. 

• If an unfamiliar person is on your property, call 911 immediately.
