CHANGE IN OPERATIONS Administrative offices on campus will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 23. All in-person classes will be held virtually prior to opening. Faculty will communicate with their students directly through Brightspace about remote responsibilities for coursework and assignments. ________ Weather Forecast A Winter Storm Warning from the National Weather Service remains in effect through Midnight on Monday. Snow accumulations and strong gusting winds are expected. Freezing temperatures and extreme wind chills will persist. Please use caution when walking around campus as ice may be present on sidewalks, stairways, and asphalt. Road conditions will vary. ________ Modified Operations
________ Students Students, including residents and commuters, should use their own judgement when determining when it is safe to drive. Students who are unable to travel should make use of the Montibus shuttle and/or contact their professors. Students should park only in permitted lots to aid in snow and ice removal. ________ Employees Administrative offices will open 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Essential staff should verify their schedules with their supervisors. All other employees should return to campus at 9 a.m. or as directed by their supervisors. Employees should use their own judgement when determining when it is safe to drive. Employees who are unable to travel to campus should contact their supervisors. ________ Members of the college community are encouraged to add mobile phone numbers to their Rave Alerts profile in order to receive immediate weather and emergency notifications.
