The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced that Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) are now available for eligible small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, aquaculture businesses, and most private non-profit organizations impacted by the Freeze, Ice Floes, and Tidal Surge event that occurred from January 26, 2026 through February 23, 2026.

Suffolk County has been included in the disaster declaration area.

These loans are intended to assist organizations that sustained economic impacts as a direct result of the disaster.

Application Filing Deadline: December 21, 2026
